So I went on a date last night.

Naturally, we began chatting about music

at some point during the night.

 I mentioned my love for Ludacris

and the conversation went flat.

My date admitted he is not a fellow fan

and 

went even further to drop this bomb:

You had known me for an hour if that.

It took everything within me

not to just leave and walk home.

I kept thinking happy thoughts

waiting for me in my fridge.

There will not be a second date I fear,
