Guess who's going to John Mayer on May 6th?
That's right. This girl. Right here.
{sorry ethan, i will probably cry, just like i did two years ago...}
Guess who John Mayer is now following on Twitter?
That's right. This girl. Right here.
{who cares if it's a fake JM account, it looks legit}
Guess who proudly attended John's last concert two years ago
despite suffering a
severely botched eyebrow waxing experience
just a few days prior?
That's right. This girl. Right here.
{i do not miss those sperm eyebrows}
But I'm actually not here to talk about John Mayer.
I'm here to talk about my
tied-for-first-place
favorite artist,
Kid Cudi.
Guess who owns
one of
500 limited edition
Lollapalooza 2011 Kid Cudi posters?
That's right. This girl. Right here.
{i also own 500 boxes of popchips}
Guess who wears Kid Cudi attire to bed?
That's right. This girl. Right here.
{obviously, pants not included}
And,
guess who raced her little white butt
to Target before it closed last week
to buy his bad ass album?
That's right. This girl. Right here.
{yes, i know walmart is open 24 hours and
i could have saved myself the race mode and gone there,
but i strongly feel that place shouldn't be visited after 6 pm}
Yep, last week Cudi released his latest and greatest,
WZRD,
an entire album
full of his collaboration with
Dot Da Genius.
It's awesome.
Just go buy it, people.
It's hard for me to pick a favorite song
to feature as 3.5.12's
Lyric of the Week,
so instead I'm picking two
because this is my blog
and I do what ever I want on it.
"Feeling numb, no I don't roll with simple people
They don't seem to understand
I'm mostly happy, but sometimes I do feel evil,
Sometimes I like feelin' bad"
As heard in Live and Learn
annnnnndddd...
"Oh, if you love soft, then you already lost
but oh, if you love hard, you should let down your guard
and
follow your heart"
As heard in Love Hard
WZRD has faced a lot of controversy;
being a heavily alternative rock album,
it comes from an artist with a
not so heavily alternative rock background.
Apparently,
this is grounds for receiving less
props, kudos, and praise
than rightfully deserved.
But you know what?
Kid Cudi
can
{and should}
do whatever he wants musically.
What he put out is really great.
Haters gonna hate,
but guess who will always have your support?
That's right. This girl. Right here.
"I do what moves my soul. Thanks."
-Kid Cudi
